Gerhard Tscherwizek

(drums)

Growing up in the 1970s, I absorbed the music of groups like The Sweet, Slade, but also Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. Other strong influences on me were Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden. But the deepest impressions were laid by Jethro Tull featuring Barriemore Barlow on his “mighty blue Ludwigs”. There was not too much a connection to the Doors’ music until I took up playing with the Doors Experience. By studying their material intensively, I learnt to love the quality of their songs and really love to play them now!
